We rejected the higher concentration.
Some brands offer ashwagandha extracts claiming 35% withanolides. We chose 5%. Here is exactly why — and why the number means nothing without the method behind it.
A higher number is not a better extract. Most brands don't disclose their withanolide percentage — and those that do rarely mention the extraction method or verification standard. It was in an early formula. Then we read the data properly. It came out.
The problem with melatonin
Melatonin is the industry's default sleep answer. It is also a synthetic hormone — and that distinction matters.
It tells your body when to sleep. Not how.
It shifts circadian timing — it doesn't improve sleep architecture or deep-sleep quality. It's aimed at a different problem.
It can blunt your own signalling.
Leaned on nightly, exogenous melatonin can reduce the body's own output over time — so you come to rely on the supplement for a signal your body should generate itself.

Why we standardise every extract.
Most people don't know the difference between "turmeric" and "turmeric, 95% curcuminoids." A brand that doesn't standardise is essentially selling a premium label on an unknown dose.
